My name is Mark Munro and the Hammer of God Ministry is part of the Lord’s call for my life. I have been a born again Christian since the end of February 2002. During the summer of 2004 I was trying to figure out what the Lord wanted to me to do with my life, so I just jumped into anything I thought might fit the bill, but it never seemed to come to much. So, one Sunday evening during the worship at church I quietly said to the Lord, “I am fed up trying to figure what you want to do on my own, tell me what You want me do clearly so I’ll understand.”
Straight away God answered, speaking straight in to my mind saying, “Write My words of encouragement.” It took me by surprise that God spoke so directly to me, even though I had asked Him to. From then on I have looked at how I could apply this call into my life.
So it is that much of my calling is to do with the written word, even with dream interpretation I find it much easier to write the interpretation than to speak it. One of the things I have found as I progressed in the gifting of dream interpretation was that much of what the Lord was saying to people was messages of encouragement. So it is that the interpretation of dreams is a central part of this ministry.
I started using this gift with the dreams my wife was having, and there was plenty to work on since she seems to be a dream factory! Then I progressed to interpreting the dreams of some people in our local church, and finally I launched this web site (which has been up and running for approximately 2 years now).
I am still learning, listening to the Lord and being guided by Him through the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that I continue to listen to the Lord and be guided by the Holy Spirit in all areas connected to this ministry that I may grow and provide more effective ministry to you.
